John Addams is a certified specialist in appellate law by the State Bar of California, Board of Legal Specialization – a distinction earned by just 1% of all California attorneys. He has over twenty-five years of experience handling a variety of civil appeals in both state and federal courts, including business disputes, employment litigation, personal injury, class actions, anti-SLAPP, elder law, probate, insurance coverage, and bad faith.
John brings a unique perspective and appreciation to his appellate practice, having tried several jury and bench trials early in his career.
Because of his reputation as an excellent writer, John is often retained by lawyers throughout California to help with major trial motion work. In addition to his California practice, John is licensed and available to handle writs and appeals in Arizona and Nevada.
