Judith Bambace joined Niddrie Addams Fuller LLP as Of Counsel in 2016 after a 31-year career as a Judicial Research Attorney at the Court of Appeal, Fourth Appellate District, Division One. During her tenure at the court, Judith reviewed appellate briefs and trial records, researched and analyzed legal issues in civil, criminal and juvenile writs and appeals, made recommendations regarding the resolution of cases, and prepared draft opinions for each of the appellate court justices. She also worked with more than 30 superior court judges who were temporarily assigned to the Court of Appeal, guiding them through the process of appellate court writing. In addition, Judith served as lead attorney of the court’s Central Staff, administered the court’s Extern Program and regularly conducted writing seminars for law students and new attorneys.

In her long history at the court, Judith has had experience with all facets of the appellate process, from pre-argument motions through post-argument petitions for review. She rounds out our practice with first-hand knowledge of how the court handles its cases and decides them.

Community Involvement
Judith is a leader and highly dedicated volunteer in the local and global communities. She served as president of the Rotary Club of San Diego Downtown Breakfast (2015-2016) and continues to serve on its Board and several committees. For two consecutive years, she was recognized as Rotarian of the Year. Judith is an outreach volunteer for Lucky Duck Foundation (www.luckyduckfoundation.org), an organization that funds and activates programs to alleviate the suffering of homeless individuals in our communities; supports Power of Love Foundation (www.poweroflove.org), a non-profit organization that funds and runs projects in Zambia and India geared toward fighting HIV and AIDS; and mentors young women in various stages of their careers.
